I moved form Coraki to Coffs Harbour with my parents

I attended Coffs Harbour Primary and Coffs Harbour High
Schools but left school when I was fifteen. I married

four of my cousins children. I have 29 grandchildren
and 8 great grandchildren.
During the past 25 years I have been in employment
with Coffs Harbour City Council, Warrina Women’s

Education Assistant at Coffs Harbour Primary School.
During my time at Coffs Harbour Primary I enrolled in
a Diploma Aboriginal Education and continued on to successfully
complete a Bachelor of Education in 2001. I was offered
a teaching position at Brewarrina and I remained in
this position for 11 months before resigning and returning
home to Coffs Harbour.
